Q: Is La Roue d’Or, LLC, replacing the Arizona Bicycle Racing Association?
A: No, we actually work with both the Arizona Bicycle Racing Association and organizers to submit all paperwork in a timely manner and host successful events.
Q: What is the difference between La Roue d’Or, LLC, and other similar companies?
A: Although we offer services proposed by similar companies, we are one of the rare company to provide a comprehensive portfolio of services, which include pre-race consulting, bib number retail, on-line pre-registration, on sire registration and results operations, photo finish, post-event financial reports and notebooks. Being versatile allows us to offer competitive pricing. We do not aim at making big money, but simply to use our experience to help clubs and organizers developing events that participants are willing to compete in again.
Q: How good is your French translation service?
A: It is as good as the manager of La Roue d’Or, LLC, is French :-) But, compared to legal translators we have complete understanding of cycling terms in both English and French, and know very well the UCI regulations. We can therefore offer our services to International events and interact confidently with organizers, riders, team managers, and referees.
Q: What if La Roue d’Or fails to provide promised services?
A: We are very confident in our expertise. However, if we fail to provide some of the services indicated in a contract due to our own negligence, we will not charge the service(s) in the final invoice.
Q: Which software do you use for registration/results?
A: We use a self-developed Excel macro for registration and results. We started developing this macro in 1998 in France and gradually improved it since then. It now includes several functions to prepare USAC and financial reports in a few clicks.
Q: Do you provide your software to promoters?
A: Sorry, but this software is neither for sale nor to be provided to organizers.
Q: I did not find any webmaster link on your site. Who created and maintain your site? Also, who created your logo?
A: There is no webmaster contact simply because we created this website from scratch using http://www.godaddy.com/, and maintain it ourselves. Although it is not the most pretty one you will ever see, it aims at being easy to surf and provide clear and concise information to the cycling community. The logo is also our own creation (did you remark that the logo contains the name of our company? If not, look carefully...).
